Terms of Service – BBQ Cleaners Christchurch

1. General

BBQ Cleaners Christchurch (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides professional BBQ cleaning, parts, non-gas repairs, assembly, & delivery services throughout Christchurch & surrounding areas. By booking a service, requesting a quote, or engaging with us in any way, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Bookings & Quotes

  • Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

  • A confirmed booking is made once you accept a quote or appointment date by text, email, or phone.

  • We reserve the right to reschedule due to weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances.

  • Prices listed on bbqcleaners.co.nz are subject to change without notice, but we will always confirm the current rate before proceeding.

3. Payments

  • Payment is due on completion of the service unless otherwise arranged in writing.

  • Accepted payment methods: cash, bank transfer, or online payment link.

  • Late payments may incur an administration fee or suspension of future service until cleared.

  • All prices include GST unless otherwise noted.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations or reschedules must be made at least 24 hours before your appointment.

  • Same-day cancellations may incur a $20 call-out fee.

  • If we arrive & cannot access the BBQ or site, the same fee may apply.

5. Service Conditions

  • We require clear access to the BBQ, water supply, & power (if needed).

  • We take all reasonable care but are not responsible for pre-existing damage, rust, wear, or component failure that may occur during cleaning.

  • Certain cosmetic marks or burn stains may be permanent & not removable even with a deep clean.

  • We will advise if any parts are unsafe or require replacement; proceeding with a service confirms acceptance of this risk.

6. Parts & Repairs

  • We supply non-gas replacement parts only (such as trays, knobs, or wind deflectors).

  • Gas components & internal gas line work must be performed by a certified gasfitter.

  • All supplied parts are new & covered by the manufacturer’s standard warranty.

7. Liability

  • While every care is taken, we accept no liability for indirect loss, consequential damage, or loss of use.

  • Our total liability for any claim is limited to the value of the service performed.

8. Photos & Marketing

  • With your consent, we may take before & after photos of your BBQ for quality assurance or marketing purposes.

  • Photos will never include identifying information without permission.

9. Customer Satisfaction

  • If you are unhappy with the service, please contact us within 48 hours.

  • We will review & , where appropriate, re-visit or offer a partial refund.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by New Zealand law. Any disputes will be handled in the Christchurch District Court jurisdiction.
